Rosh Pina was founded in 1882, and its original main street is beautifully preserved — the best possible place to start a visit.

An easy family spring with shade and a small pool in summer. Good for an hour or two in the morning, before the heat sets in.
A large pine forest with walking and cycling trails, picnic spots and views out to the Sea of Galilee. An easy way to fill half a day before heading back to rest.
Open viewpoints over the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights, at their best at sunset. Check daylight hours in advance in winter.
Rosh Pina sits inside Israel's northern wine belt, so a winery visit folds neatly into a holiday day.
One of the oldest wineries in the area, with a history tied to the founders of the colony itself. Tours and tastings run by arrangement — check seasonal opening hours.
Small cheese farms with tastings are scattered around Rosh Pina and Ramot Naftali. Call ahead: several open only on certain days.
We leave our guests recommendations for nearby restaurants, and can sometimes arrange a spread with Galilee wine in the suite itself. A good way to end a day on your feet.
Rosh Pina's central position makes it a comfortable base for day trips across the whole Upper Galilee.
A picturesque hill town of stone alleys, art galleries and ancient synagogues. Come in the morning or late afternoon to dodge the heat and the weekend crowds.
Several public and serviced beaches to choose from — good for a full day with children or an hour of quiet in the evening. In summer, arrive early for easy parking.
Viewpoints, streams and jeep or walking routes, depending on the season. Worth planning ahead: it's further out and the weather shifts with altitude.
After a day of trails, wine and viewpoints, the nicest thing is coming back somewhere quiet that's yours.

A few things guests ask us while they're planning the trip.
Two to three days is enough to combine the colony, some nature, a winery and a day out to Safed or the Sea of Galilee without rushing.
Most of them need a car. The exceptions are HaEm Street and the Bell Garden, both an easy walk from our suites.
Ein Ziv, Biriya Forest and the Bell Garden are the shortest and easiest, and you can comfortably do all three in one day.
